João R. Moris

João Moris is a Brazilian and a lover of the English language. Has taught English for over 25 years. Lived and worked in the USA, UK, and Nigeria, and travels regularly to English-speaking countries. Is a certified translator and founding partner of JMM Translations in São Paulo (www.jmm.com.br). Graduated as a journalist from the University of São Paulo and as a translator-interpreter from São Paulo’s Alumni Association. Member of the Deliberative Council at Palas Athena Association, a Brazilian NGO dedicated to fostering a Culture of Peace. Is a movie freak and can often be spotted at theaters around town.
